Michael joined Pivot in July 2025, bringing experience in development finance, strategic land acquisition, and London real estate investment. He enjoys working closely with developers throughout the property lifecycle, helping to improve scheme viability from the outset.
Prior to Pivot, Michael was a Loan Manager at Shanly Finance, where he structured senior debt facilities for SME developers across London and the South East. He led transactions end-to-end, combining underwriting, legal, and asset management responsibilities.
Earlier roles include Land Buyer at a strategic land promoter and Analyst at a real estate investment firm. He holds a BSc in Investment and Finance in Property from the University of Reading.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys cycling, sailing, trekking, and skiing, and is currently navigating the planning process for a small home in South Oxfordshire.
